Kelly Auto Group has recently been awarded a Chrysler-Dodge Franchise. The new franchise’s 25,000-square-foot showroom is located on Lehigh Automile in Emmaus, PA, which also houses the Kelly Jeep Franchise.
Kelly Chrysler Dodge Jeep offers the newest Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles, along with used cars, trucks and SUVs by those and other leading manufacturers.
“Kelly Auto Group is prospering, despite the recent chill in the economy and the auto industry,” says Kelly Auto Group Vice President and Partner Chris Saraceno.
“This can be attributed to our leadership and the spirit of teamwork fostered among Kelly’s 376 team members in Pennsylvania and Florida. While many dealerships nationwide have had to lay off staff, we have not had to cut back, even with the closing of our Saturn dealership when GM shut Saturn down.”
Kelly Buick GMC’s showroom is now located in the former Saturn of the Valley facility, 40 yards from the new Chrysler Dodge Jeep Center.
Kelly Auto Group has been in business in the Lehigh Valley area of Pennsylvania since 1967, and in 2009, ranked as the 98th largest dealer group, out of 18,000 dealer groups nationwide, according to Ward’s Auto World Magazine.
“We are a family owned business, and we feel very fortunate that our founder Robert Kelly is still very actively involved in the business,” says Chris Saraceno, himself a 15-year veteran of the firm.
Founder Robert Kelly has been president of Kelly Auto Group for more than 20 years, and in the automobile dealership business for 50 years. “He’s a major proponent of making sure every customer is taken care of as if he or she were the only customer we have. His 3 sons are also involved in the business: Greg Kelly, 48, manages the Lehigh Valley stores, Bob Kelly Jr. 44, runs the Leasing Department, and Tim Kelly, 41, is General Manager of Kelly Nissan. They work a lot of hours. They want the dealerships to be great and our whole team feels very fortunate that they are actively involved,” says Chris.
“Ten years ago, we put a company-wide sales process in place, based on our mission statement, and we continuously work on it to foster excellence in our relationships with our customers,” says Chris.
